What’s the deal with all of these amazing show announcements in Maine?

What a year we’re going to have in 2025! Concert and show announcements are coming in fast and furious, with no end in sight.

This could be one of the all-time greatest summers for shows, especially after the news that just dropped.

Ready for this? The one and only Jerry Seinfeld, the king himself, has announced he’ll be performing live at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on August 7.

Jerry Seinfeld Coming to Maine in August

Seinfeld is best known as the creator and star of Seinfeld, one of the most successful sitcoms of all time. Since the show ended in the late '90s, Seinfeld has spent the majority of his time on stage performing his stand-up routine for huge crowds, no matter where he goes.

This is going to be a big one, folks, and easily the largest crowd to ever see Seinfeld perform in Maine. He did play Merrill Auditorium in Portland back in the spring of 2024, but the Maine Savings Amphitheater is on a whole different level. The outdoor pavilion seats nearly 6,500, with lawn space for close to 10,000. Now, maybe the lawn won’t be needed for this show, but it’s sure to be one massive event.

Maine Savings Ampitheater 2025 Schedule is Loaded

Seinfeld joins a long list of performers who are scheduled to play in Bangor this year, including fellow comedian Matt Rife, who is set to perform on July 12.

Musical artists scheduled to appear in Bangor this year include Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Bret Michaels, Vince Neil, Bonnie Raitt, and Melissa Etheridge, just to name a few. One would expect that the scheduling is not done yet.
