Kill Tony is a popular live comedy podcast in which aspiring and established comedians are randomly selected from a bucket to perform a one-minute stand-up set before hosts Tony Hinchcliffe, Brian Redban, and a panel of guests.

The set is followed by an onstage interview and critique. With millions of viewers and listeners across YouTube and podcast platforms, being selected can give a comedian significant exposure, while a strong performance can introduce them to a large international audience and potentially lead to new opportunities in comedy.

A new opportunity came for Mike St. Hilaire when he became the first comedian randomly selected to perform on Kill Tony episode #781, featuring comedian Jeff Arcuri.

During the interview after his first set on the show, Hinchcliffe asked about St. Hilaire’s last name, his 12 years of experience in stand-up comedy, and what he does for work.

St. Hilaire discussed his decision to take a break from comedy and spoke about growing up in Maine.

He also wore a Boston Red Sox hat during the appearance, with his stand-up set beginning at the 19:41 mark of the episode.
