Is Cursive Writing a Dying Art? [POLL]

When I was a child, I looked forward to learning to write in cursive... mostly so I could read the notes that teachers would have us students hand-deliver to another teacher down the hall.

I remember learning to write in cursive in my third grade class. I was so proud!

I honestly have trouble as an adult trying to write in complete cursive. Over the years, my hand writing has morphed in to a combination of cursive and print. Am I alone in this?

I read an article recently that says that students are not learning to write in cursive like they once did. What are your thoughts on this?
