Many Aroostook County residents and businesses alike have been without power during the long holiday weekend due to high winds and rain from Hurricane Arthur. High winds have been downing trees and damaging power lines, as well as sending debris through the air.

Many weekend activities in the area have been cancelled or postponed due to the weather.

The rain has really put a damped on the 2014 Houlton Agricultural Fair. Many events have been postponed until Sunday.

Here are a few photos of storm damage.
