Hunter Found Dead Man’s Body in Maine
The Maine State Police said a man’s body was found Tuesday morning on Old County Road in Edgecomb.
Hunter Found Dead Man’s Body
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office located the deceased man near Schmid Land Preserve around 9:30 am after a 911 call from a hunter.
Major Crimes Unit Investigating
Detectives with the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central were on the scene to investigate, said the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Positive Identification
The man’s body was taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for a positive identification.
Cause and Manner of Death
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause and manner of death. The investigation is ongoing.
