Gas prices once again have dipped slightly across New England.

According to GasBuddy.com, the price at the pump in Maine dropped less than a penny to an average $2.69 a gallon. In Presque Isle, most stations showed a price of $2.78 a gallon as of Monday morning. However, there was one station at $2.79 and two showing $2.82 a gallon.

New Hampshire gas prices fell 1.7 cents over the last week to an average of $2.61 a gallon. Meanwhile, prices at the pumps in Vermont rose just under a penny to $2.72 a gallon, on average

The national average dropped 3 cents a gallon from a week ago to an average $2.72 a gallon. That's 1.8 cents a gallon higher than a month ago, but is 12.1 cents a gallon lower than where it stood one year ago.
