Prices at the pumps in New England are still climbing.

In the Pine Tree State, regular unleaded rose 4 cents a gallon over the last week to an average $2.41 a gallon. In Presque Isle, as of Monday morning, most stations were at $2.59 a gallon. That's a jump of 8 cents over last week's price in the Star City.

Like Maine, New Hampshire's gas prices also rose 4 cents a gallon. The average price of gas in the Granite State is $2.35 a gallon. Vermont saw the smallest increase, rising only 2.5 cents to an average $2.43 a gallon.

Meanwhile, the national average rose 19.6 cents a gallon from a month ago and 6 cents from two weeks ago, but is still 3.4 cents a gallon lower than at this time last year.
