‘Full Frontal With Samantha Bee’ Extends First Season Through 2016

More and more, weekly late-night talk shows of Daily Show alum have commanded the spotlight from their nightly counterparts, and Samantha Bee will continue building her new empire all year. Following breakout success, TBS’ Full Frontal With Samantha Bee has officially confirmed an extended order to take us through at least 2016.

Initially confirmed for just 13 episodes, Bee’s own weekly take on late-night satire has been granted an additional 26 episodes, carrying Full Frontal With Samantha Bee through the end of the year. The series is described as “a unique, satirical take on weekly news and explores in-depth stories that have been largely overlooked by more traditional media outlets,” episodes averaging 3.7 million viewers across platforms.

In seven episodes, the former Daily Show correspondent has taken aim at the 2016 presidential election, rape kit testing, Syrian refugee paranoia, and plenty more divisive issues. You can see for yourself, as Full Frontal With Samantha Bee airs Monday nights at 10:30 P.M., after Conan.
