Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Northeastern New Brunswick
Police say a 60-year-old man from Tremblay, N.B. has died after he was struck by a vehicle on New Year's Eve.
Bathurst RCMP responded to the crash on Route 315 shortly after 11 p.m. on Monday, according to Sgt. Marc Tremblay.
Investigators believe the man was walking along the road towards his residence when he was struck by an on-coming, southbound car. The man died at the scene as a result of his injuries, Tremblay said. The driver of the car was not injured.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is continuing.
