Fashion Forward – Fabulous Thrifty Finds

Every so often, I plan on hitting up my favorite cheapie stores to showcase (what I think) are some of their most fabulous offerings. Here is what I found...

Now, I am no longer 21. And I know a lot of the readers are not 21, either.  But that’s OK! You can still shop here…. promise! The key is to look for flattering silhouettes and also to plan on mixing your F21 find with other (maybe higher-end) items.

I usually pick up trendy pieces that I don’t plan on having for more than 2-3 seasons. This is not the place to ‘invest’ in something you will want to have forever. Just as you won’t be 21 forever, your 21 finds won’t last forever either. But it is the perfect place to try out a fun trendy item or go crazy on the $20 tops. Here are some of my favorite current offerings- all perfect for fall!

1. Love this buffalo check top. I would pair it with boyfriend jeans and wedges, or with a full black skirt and flats for work.
2. I LOVE this sweet bow bag. I also love having a bag to take to various places and I won’t have to worry about it getting dirty, banged up, etc.
3. I’m always on the hunt for great layering pieces and this metallic tweed jacket definitely fits into that category. Layer it over a t-shirt, turtleneck or sweater depending on the level of warmth needed.
4. DYING over this fringed, tiered skirt. It is pretty commanding, attention wise. So if you go for something as bold as this, keep the rest of the outfit simple.
5. How adorable are these fingerless fox gloves?? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cuter way to keep your hands warm!
