With today being Earth Day, it’s a great opportunity to get back to the basics. Concentrate on making small changes within yourself, by exercising a few times a week … thus making a healthier you!

You’re probably thinking… “It’s easier said than done”. But that’s where you would be incorrect. It’s recommended that you get 150 minutes of physical activity a week. When you think about it, that’s not very much time at all. That’s the length of a movie.  Don’t let that number scare you.

According to the CDC, you don’t need a long workout to get long-term benefits. You can break up your routine to make it easier to fit into your schedule. For example, take the dog for a ten-minute walk, three times a day. You’ll rack up 150 minutes of exercise in just five days. That’s easy, right? Yes, it’s a very attainable goal!

What gets you moving?
