UPDATE:

Jacob Pelkey, Marketing Manager, Micmac Farms said Winter Festival Market is postponed until Saturday, February 15 due to the storm.

I understand the huge amount of economic loss and energy that went into made perishable products, but we will need to postpone the Winter Festival Market until Saturday, February 15th.

I do understand if you are no longer able to join us, but I wanted to ensure I tried our best to make this work. Unfortunately, we are worried about plowing and having folks on the roads today.

Please let me know if you are not interested in attending next weekend. Sorry for the disappointment. You may call me directly at (207) 551-6227.

ORIGINAL STORY:

24 Aroostook County farmers, chefs, and artisans will have their goods and wares on display at the Winter Festival Market.

Micmac Farms’ Complex in Caribou will once again be bustling on Saturday, February 8. Guests are welcome to tour the 34,000-gallon Maine brook trout hatchery, participate in the seed catalog swap, enjoy musical guests, or enjoy a farm-to-table lunch and free coffee throughout the afternoon.

As indoor winter markets throughout the State are on an upward trend, this monthly Caribou market has seen a growth in the number of visitors, number of vendor inquiries, and the amount of revenues generated by each exhibitor.
