LeBron James holds the all-time record for most points scored by an 18-year-old in the NBA, putting up 625 total points during the early stretch of his rookie season.

He reached that mark in just 31 games, debuting on October 29th, 2003, with 25 points against the Kings and wrapping up his age-18 run on December 28th, 2003, with a 10-point performance in a win over the Trail Blazers.

As of December 4th, 2025, Cooper Flagg has scored 380 points in 22 games as an 18-year-old, with his 19th birthday coming up on December 21st, 2025.

That gives him a maximum of 28 potential games played as an 18-year-old, with his final scheduled matchup set for December 20th against the Philadelphia 76ers.

And there you have it! To break the record held by LeBron James for more than 20 years, Cooper needs to score over 625 total points before December 21st, 2025.
