Closings and Cancellations for Wednesday, January 30th

Northern Maine and western New Brunswick are expected to receive 4 to 8 inches of snow on Wednesday making travel difficult across the region. Here are the latest closings and cancellations for Wednesday, January 30th:

All MSAD #1 schools will be closing at 11:30 a.m. today. There will be no after school activities.

MSAD #45 (Washburn area schools) will be releasing at 11:30 today and there is no afternoon pre-K.

Caswell School is closing early at 11:30 a.m.

MSAD 20 (Fort Fairfield schools)  are closing at 11:30 a.m.

Woodland  Consolidated school will be dismissing at 11:45 today

RSU 39 (Caribou, Limestone, Stockholm) Early dismissal at noon - No after-school activities

Van Buren District School will be dismissing at 12:00 p.m. due to the weather conditions. There will be no afternoon prekindergarten. The basketball games for tonight have been postponed to tomorrow night.

SAD 32 (Ashland school)  closing at noon.

RSU 42 (Central Aroostook schools) will close at noon

Easton Schools - dismissing at 12 noon

All unified Valley Schools :SAD 27 Fort Kent , Madawaska, and SAD 33 St. Agatha, Frenchville will be closing at noon today

MSAD #1 Adult and Community Education - closing at 11:30 a.m.

Northern Maine Community College and Husson classes and Wellness Center will close at 12 noon today.

UMPI will close at 12:00 pm today. All classes with a start time of 12:00 pm or after are canceled. All offices will be also be closed .

Tonight's Presque Isle  vs. Houlton girls' JV and Varsity basketball games at PIHS have been postponed. The games will be made up Thursday, January 31, at the regular times: JV @ 5:30 p.m. and varsity @ 7:00 p.m.
