Officers Kegan McPherson and Chad Cochran responded to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. and noted that a 2016 GMC Sierra pickup had been in an accident and was abandoned on the side of the road.

The officers were able to locate the owner of the vehicle, 39-year-old Robert Shaw of Caribou at a nearby residence and charged him with Failure to Report Accident by Quickest Means.
