Brands make changes to stay relevant, attract new customers, or reflect shifts in their values or identity. A ‘rebrand’ happens when a company updates its logo, messaging, or overall image to better connect with its audience.
Sometimes it's a small tweak, like refreshing a design, while other times it’s a complete transformation.
Rebranding helps businesses stay competitive and convey their identity in a rapidly changing world. As we move through 2024 and into 2025, changes are happening at an unprecedented pace. With the rise of online shopping, competition is fiercer than ever.
So, given all of that, which retailer with 11 stores—8 of which are in Maine—has rebranded its identity?
As announced and executed on Black Friday (11/29), which also coincided with Record Store Day Black Friday 2024, the media retail chain Bull Moose revealed and unveiled a rebrand.
Bull Moose, first established in Maine in 1989, recently updated its iconic logo and identity.
To celebrate their 35th anniversary, as announced on their social media pages, the rebrand reflects Bull Moose’s journey—honoring their roots while embracing the creativity of their employee-owners and customers. Bull Moose looks forward to continuing to grow alongside their customers while championing local artists and creators.
With locations in Bangor, Biddeford, Brunswick, Lewiston, Mill Creek, North Windham, Scarborough, and Waterville, Bull Moose has refreshed its logo heading into 2025.
