Boy Seriously Injured After Being Hit by Car In Lewiston

LEWISTON, Maine (AP) — Police say a 10-year-old boy was seriously injured after being struck by a car while crossing a street in Lewiston.

Authorities say the boy suffered a severe head injury and was taken to the hospital.

The boy's name has not been released.

Police have not released any information about the driver.

The collision happened in the middle of Sabattus Street on Monday evening.
