Awkward Cell Phone Moments

We’ve all had those awkward moments when our “Smart” phone isn’t so smart. I’m talking of course, about autocorrect. It’s your BFF one moment and your own worst enemy the next.

I recently got a new smart phone and I’m still getting use to you it. Everything I’m texting someone and I try to type “I’m”, my phone wants to put in “Important” instead. While I appreciate that my phone thinks I’m important, I’m not so sure my friends are going to get what I was trying to say. Dang it, why must technology be so complicated!

Another funny thing my cell phone does is when I’m texting and trying to spell the abbreviated “your”, which is “ur”, my phone likes to add and “N” to that. Urn! OMG! Isn’t technology great?

I also love those awkward moments when you’re trying to type a word that you have no idea how to actually spell. So you take an educated guess. Your phone is not a mind reader! In fact, a lot of the time I’m sure my phone is thinking “What the heck are you trying to spell? Cause I got nothin’!”
