A Maine Man And Woman Found Dead After Shooting

A Gardiner man and woman are dead after allegedly being murdered at their home this morning. Law enforcement officers are investigating.

Maine State Police and Gardiner Police are investigating the shooting deaths of a woman and a man in Gardiner this morning after two bodies were discovered at a residence on Fairview St., according to spokesman, Stephen McCausland.

According to the press release today, the unidentified woman died after being rushed to Maine General in Augusta and the unidentified man's body was found outside the home.

Police say that they are investigating the two deaths as a likely murder-suicide and added that there is no danger to the public.
