8-Year-Old Boy Helps Reunite Siblings After 65 Years

An Iowa man who spent most of his life searching  for his sister finally found her with the help of his 8-year-old neighbor.

Clifford Boyson and his sister, Betty  were separated in 1948 when they were sent to different foster homes in the Chicago area.  They never heard from each other after that.

When Mr. Boyson’s neighbor, Eddie Hanzelin, learned of the hunt, he did what any enterprising second-grader would do and searched for her online.   It wasn't long before the boy found the 70-year old Betty (Boyson) Billadeau on Facebook. She lives near St. Louis, Missouri.

KSDK-TV reports the long-lost brother and sister spoke to each other this week for the first time in 65 years via video chat.  Billadeau plans to drive to visit her brother this weekend.
