A 69-year-old man died Saturday night after he was hit by an SUV in Bangor.

Jeffrey Green died at the scene after he was hit on Kenduskeag Avenue around 7 pm.
Pedestrian Chasing Dog before Crash
Police said the driver told officers Green may have been chasing a dog when the accident happened, according to WGME News.
Driver Cooperating
Law enforcement said the driver was cooperating with the investigation. Name and age were not released.
