46-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed in Maine
A 46-year-old man died Friday night after he was shot on Foss Street in Biddeford.
Died at the Scene
First responders tried to save, but Gene Dares of Biddeford died at the scene around 10:53 pm, said Maine State Police.
Medical Examiner Autopsy
His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta and an autopsy was done.
Man Died from Gunshots
The death was ruled a homicide from gunshot wounds.
Investigation is Ongoing
The Biddeford Police Department and the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit South are investigating, said Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
