119 Grams of Fentanyl Seized; Man Charged with Drug Trafficking

A 35-year-old Cornville man is charged with drug trafficking after the Maine State Police seized 119 grams of fentanyl during a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.

PACE Team members pulled a vehicle over on the Maine Turnpike around 4:45 pm in York. Police said Troopers observed criminal indicators and called K9 Pinny to conduct a vehicle sniff.

The presence of narcotics was detected, and a search located 119 grams of fentanyl, crack cocaine paraphernalia & a small amount of crack.

Chad Stevens is charged with Class A Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs.
