Maxwell Thomas Hearn appeared in Moncton Provincial Court Thursday afternoon, where he was charged with four counts of armed robbery and four counts of having his face masked while committing an indictable offence, according to Cpl. Marco Leger.

Police say Hearn was wanted in connection with armed robberies at Freddie’s Pizza and the Hot Rice restaurant, and two armed robberies at the Pizza Twins restaurant. The robberies occurred between February 16 and March 13, Leger said.

Hearn has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court again on Friday, April 1 at 9:30 a.m.
