Police Search For Suspect in Armed Robbery at Moncton Pizza Shop

The RCMP is looking for a man involved in an armed robbery Tuesday night at Pizza Twins on Elmwood Drive in Moncton. 

Police were called to the restaurant around 10 p.m. Codiac Regional RCMP say a man had walked into the business, armed with what is believed to be a hand gun and demanded cash from the employee. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, English speaking, wearing a black jacket, black balaclava, black gloves, and blue jeans.  He is approximately 5'8" tall and weighs approximately 225 lbs.

Anyone who may have been in the area of Elmwood Drive between 9 and 10 p.m.Tuesday and saw the suspect or may have information about this crime is asked to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at 857-2400.
