Woman Arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 22-year-old woman with active warrants was arrested Thursday for Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Brewer.
Woman had Fentanyl, Cocaine and a Stolen Firearm
The Brewer Police Department said Shanika Littlefield was “in possession of a stolen firearm and a quantity of fentanyl and cocaine base” at the Vacationland Inn. Police also searched her room and seized additional evidence.
Suspect had Three Active Warrants
Littlefield had three active warrants for Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Drug Possession of Methamphetamine, Violation of Release Conditions and Criminal Forfeiture of Property. Littlefield also had two separate sets of bail conditions prohibiting criminal conduct.
Six People Detained and One Woman Arrested
Six people were detained at the motel and Littlefield was taken into custody.
Jail and Charges
Littlefield was taken to the Penobscot County Jail. She was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking. Police said the charge was aggravated due to the amount of drugs seized, the fact that the Inn is a drug free safe zone, and she was in possession of a firearm. She was also charged with violation of Release Conditions.
