Wildcats get “Whoopie” of a Send-off to State Championship Game

Presque Isle  -  The Presque Isle Lady Wildcats Basketball Team got a “whoopie” of a send-off just before the team departed from Presque Isle High School this morning for their trip south to Portland to compete in the Maine High School Principal’s Association State Class B High School Basketball Tournament Championship Game this evening. 

TAMC presented the players, coach staff and team managers with special Wildcat Whoopie Pies that were made especially for the team by the dietary staff at TAMC.  Dietary team members Carla Haines and Nancy Michaud developed special Whoopie Pies in the team colors for each of the central Aroostook County High School Basketball Teams headed to State Championship Games this weekend.

Accepting the Wildcat Whoopie Pies were (kneeling, from left): Michaela Dunais, Emma Kinney, Emily Wheaton, Emily Lagerstrom, Taylor Williams, Morgan Wilcox, and Jordi Legassie.  Also joining in the presentation were (standing, from left):  Jessica Cameron, Megan Seward, Olivia Hudson, Coach Jeff Hudson, TAMC Vice President of Support Services James McKenney, Regan Nelson, TAMC Chief Medical Information Officer Dr. Roger Peli, Krystal Kingsbury, Asst. Coach Ralph Michaud, Hannah Graham, Asst. Coach Tim McCue, Eric Ackerson, and Jordan Buckley.
