According to the Aroostook County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Brandee Pelletier of Wallagrass was heading north on Aroostook Road in a 1996 Dodge Ram just after 2 p.m. when she lost control on a curve.

The truck went off the road and rolled over, ending up on its roof in the snowbank, narrowly missing a telephone pole.

Pelletier, who was wearing her seat belt, was evaluated at the scene by paramedics but did not appear to be injured.

Sheriff Darrell Crandall said speed and road conditions were factors in the crash.

Responding to the accident were Deputies Matt Cummings and Reid Clark, State Trooper Andrew Levesque and members of the Eagle Lake Fire Department and Ambulance Service Inc.
