Unidentified Body Found

Maine State Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body in the parking lot of a recreational area in Durham.

The body was discovered Wednesday morning at Runaround Pond. The body appears to be that of a middle aged man. There was no vehicle found nearby. The body was found by a man using the portable rest room at the parking lot Wednesday morning.

Detectives were waiting for someone from the State Medical Examiner’s Office to arrive, who would remove the body and transport it back to the Augusta office for autopsy and identification.
