Top 5 Things you can do in the Snow

Northern Maine and Western New Brunswick sure has been pounded by a healthy dose of snow this year, especially in recent weeks. Our area draws people from all over to enjoy our outdoor winter activities.

This week’s Top 5 is dedicated to things that you can do in the snow. I have a little girl at home that loves to go outside and play in the snow. We sure have a ball together! When I was a kid, my brother and I would play outside in the snow for hours on end! Here goes…

Make Snowballs, silly! Even if you’re not as you as you once were…. You’re never too old to have a snowball fight!

Make a snow angel. There is nothing better than just flopping in to the snow and making a snow angel!

Go skiing or snowboarding. You’re getting some exercise while enjoying the outdoors… win win!

Make a snow fort. It’s not as hard as you might think. Start with a snow tunnel!

Snowsledding. This is by far my favorite winter activity! There is just nothing better than being in the great outdoors enjoying the beautiful scenery that our area has to offer.
