Tucked away in the charming little town of Hallowell, Maine is a sweet old stone building with a red double doors filled with wooden shelves lined with books of all genres. The Hubbard Free Library has served Hallowell and surrounding communities since the mid-1800s. The building design was inspired by an English country church. It still maintains many of the original architectural details today including stained glass and wooden beams and arches.
