Ah, Maine.  The Pine Tree state is one of the most beautiful in the entire U.S., so it's no surprise that Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth is one of the most photographed in entire country.

If you have ever been to Fort Williams Park where the lighthouse lives, you will see people from all over the world and they are all taking pictures.

Tripsavvy.com cites the lighthouse as one of the most photographed in all of America.

A visit to Fort Williams Park has lots of things to do.  Not only can you take a bunch of pictures, but you can also hike the Cliff Walk.  Most everyone can do this walk.  It's along the rocks of the Atlantic and gives you another delicious view with every step.

If you want to have a picnic, there are picnic tables there for you and your families.  Recent years have brought food trucks there, but you are still able to bring your own food into the park.
