Fort Kent's Austin Theriault will be back on the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series scene this weekend. It will be his third Cup Series event after racing at New Hampshire and at Pocono.

This time Theriault will compete at the NASCAR race at Michigan International Speedway. It's a two-mile track with lots of banking and cars can reach speeds of 200+mph.

Theriault and his #52 car is one of two Rick Ware Racing Team cars entered in the Michigan field. Spencer Boyd will drive the #53 car.

Theriault finished 35th at the Loudon, New Hampshire cup race and 34th at Pocono.

Pole qualifying for Michigan race is late Friday afternoon. The Cup race is Sunday at 3pm.
