Voting is open for Spring Week Three Athlete of the Week, with seven County athletes nominated from softball, baseball, track and field, and lacrosse.

The Northern Maine Moose girls lacrosse team earned its first win, Presque Isle edged Fort Kent, Katahdin topped Washburn, and Van Buren and Madawaska split in tennis.

A 54-year-old former Sergeant with the Washburn Police Department was arrested for falsifying reports in a missing persons case.
