Saint John River

The Spring thaw is in full swing and is showing no mercy. River flooding is a real possibility that could affect many people who live and work along waterways in Northern Maine and Western New Brunswick. We've been scouring social media and wanted to share come of the thing Spring 2015 flooding images that people are posting. Have a look.

River Watch New Brunswick has issued an ice movement flood watch for several of the province's rivers. The agency is asking that people be aware of the situation, and say that river flows and levels are expected to rise over the next 24 hours and there is a probability of ice movement and ice jamming along the St. John River, and other river systems.

A body recovered from the Mactaquac Dam at Keswick Ridge on June 4 has been identified.
