Presque Isle Elks

Having first appeared, to great acclaim, at the Veterans’ Thanksgiving Dinner on November 20, 2015, “Rose and the Burdock Bush” will make a limited return engagement for the Elks Family Christmas Dinner starting at 11:00 a.m. on Christmas Day at the Elks Lodge in Presque Isle, Maine.

On Veterans’ Day, November 11, 2014, beginning at 4:30 p.m., Presque Isle Elks Lodge #1954 will host a free stew night for all military veterans.

“Come join our block party and in keeping with this year’s theme, ‘Lesse bon temps roullez, Let the good times roll’.”  Those are the words of Alan Harding, Exalted Ruler of the Presque Isle Elks, who on Thursday, August 21, will again be hosting a street fair in downtown Presque Isle from 4 to 10 p.m.  The theme for the 2014 street fair is ‘Saluer Acadia’ or ‘Praise Acadia’.

A beautiful Spring day and an increasingly-popular annual event sponsored by the Presque Isle Elks attracted hundreds of youth and supervising adults to Mantle Lake Park in Presque Isle on Saturday, May 31, 2014, for the “Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs” youth fishing derby.

The shores of Mantle Lake in Presque Isle will once again be the site of the "Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs" youth fishing derby next weekend.

The 13th year of the annual Youth Fishing Derby at Mantle Lake Park in Presque Isle brought out kids and parents from around The County to enjoy some fishing, wholesome fun, and free food.
