MPA Gives Winter Sports the Green Light! Guidelines Released
The winter sports season for high school sports in Maine is slated to begin next Monday and many athletes, coaches, administrators, and parents have been awaiting on guidance for the upcoming seasons. On Thursday the Maine Principal's Association (MPA) officially released their guidelines for the 2021-22 winter sports seasons.
State Championship Saturday in Presque Isle a Huge Success
The weather on Saturday in Presque Isle was perfect for the Class C & D State Championships. Aroostook County had two teams competing in their respective classes. It was a busy day at the Gehrig Johnson Athletic Complex with teams and fans from all over Maine, coming to Presque Isle.
Several Aroostook County Athletes Named to All-Star Team
As the fall sports season for high schools in Maine winds down this weekend, many awards and honors are being announced. The Maine Soccer Coaches Association released their 2021 Regional All-Stars, with several athletes from Aroostook County schools being recognized. Seniors that were selected will have the opportunity to play in the Senior Bowl, later this month at Hampden Academy
Wisdom Boys Join 3 Aroostook County Teams in Regional Finals
The boys' soccer team from Wisdom took a trip down to Bangor on Saturday to take on the #1 seed Bangor Christian Patriots in the semi-final round. Wisdom picked up the early morning win and have advanced to the Class D Northern Maine Regional Final to be played on Tuesday in Presque Isle.

Teams From Presque Isle, Van Buren & Wisdom Advance in Playoffs
We have reached the quarterfinal round in the Maine Principal's Association high school soccer playoffs. Tuesday's games in Aroostook County were incredibly competitive with all four games being decided by one goal. Two of the four games went in to overtime, with one matchup being decided by penalty kicks.
