Trucking Dream
In the midst of the 2014 Youth/Junior Biathlon World Championships, the Biathlon committee overheard that IBU Race Director, Borut Nunar's dream was to one day drive a tractor trailer truck. Well, the staff at the Northern Maine Community College stepped in and made a dream come true.
Biathlon ‘Volunteers’
An event like the 2014 Youth/Junior Biathlon World Championships at the Nordic Heritage Center in Presque Isle is no small task to pull off. In addition to the generous support of all of the sponsors, over 400 volunteers are helping to make this event run smoothly.

The 2014 Jr/Youth World Biathlon Championships will descend upon the Star City this weekend. If you happen to drive through the city, or even the side streets for that matter, you'll notice a lot of runners in multi-colored sports gear. These are world-class athletes

IBU Visits Nordic Heritage Center
The International Biathlon Union paid a visit to the Nordic Heritage Center in Presque Isle today not only to do lots of important pointing, but also inspect and prepare for the 2014 biathlon.
