Fort Fairfield Man Arrested

No officers were injured and no police vehicles were damaged.

Authorities said the Fort Fairfiled man told officers he had earlier used meth and consumed alcohol.

The Aroostook County Sheriff's Office said the suspect, identified as 46-year-old Kirk Tompkins, fled the scene on foot around 3 pm Wednesday.
