Maine State Police have arrested three people from central Maine on various charges after a group was allegedly squatting at a camp in southern Aroostook County.
Lately the citizens of Presque Isle are noticing there are more needles being left laying on the ground around the city. The latest problem is coming from the Riverside Drive part of the city.
A woman pleaded guilty in Maine on federal drug charges as well as firearms charges. The woman was part of an organized drug trafficking conspiracy in northern Maine.
A mother-son duo was arrested and charged on Monday in Presque Isle. 44 year old Leann Johnson and her son, Jeramiah Therrien, 23, were arrested at Johnsons home on Dyer St after an execution of a search warrant.
According to a press release from the Maine State Police, sixteen people were arrested following a week-long drug investigation.
