Kick off your holiday season at Woodstock High School with their Annual Christmas Concert!

Aroostook County  -  Each year, patients of TAMC’s County Dialysis Center receive a box complete with a turkey dinner and all the trimmings thanks to the generosity of TAMC employees, donors and the legacy of a former dialysis patient who passed away four years ago.

There are some people who will not be able to be near friends and family this year, or maybe they've fallen on hard times. There will be a free Christmas meal offered in Woodstock, New Brunswick because the holiday season is all about giving.

For the ninth year the Presque Isle Elks are hosting Christmas dinner for those that don't have family or friends in the area, at absolutely no charge.

Maybe it's because I'm older, but it seems that cancer has been rearing its ugly head more and more these days.  The amount of benefit suppers seems unusually high.  That being said, these events are necessary and really do help those that need it.  Like Sherry Mockler Young.

9 year-old Colby Scott has severe Aplastic Anemia, a condition in which the bone marrow does not make enough new blood cells. Thanks to his 6 year-old brother Carson, who was a perfect donor match, on September 18th Colby had a bone marrow transplant.
