Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce

Three northern Maine individuals and one business will be honored this month when The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce, Presque Isle Elks Lodge, Presque Isle Kiwanis Club and Presque Isle Rotary Clubs present annual awards to recognize those who have contributed significantly to improving lives of others in the area.

The Presque Isle City Council Chambers will be the location for the traditional City Council Candidates’ Forum.

The Crown of Maine Balloon Fest kicks off this week for the 13th year and runs from Thursday, August 25, through Sunday, August 28.

Two RSU 39 employees, with help from the Northern Maine Development Commission Business Finance Division, have started a side business, Aroostook Driving School LLC, to meet a demand in the region.
