Acadia's Precipice Trail is receiving love for its challenging reputation.

Deputy Secretary of the Interior Tommy Beaudreau visited Acadia National Park on Saturday, April 29th where he joined federal and local leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new year-round maintenance facility at park headquarters in Bar Harbor, made possible with a new $32.6 million investment from the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA). Acadia National Park's Carriage Roads will be closed to all effective on Friday, March 31st to prevent damage from the soft ground and mud

The cost to enter Acadia National Park is increasing effective Saturday, April 1st.

It will most likely start within days, and is scheduled to be completed by Memorial Day.
