Suspect in a String of Train Robberies is Over 7 Feet Tall

Police in Chicago are searching for a train robber of NBA proportions.  Victims of a number of recent hold-ups on the Chicago Transit Authority's Pink Line say one of the robbers is over 7 feet tall.

Police say that in four cases this month, two men grabbed someone's cell phone just as the train approached a station, jumped out as the doors closed and ran away.

The men were described as being in their mid-twenties. One of them is about six feet tall. Witnesses all agreed the other suspect is at least seven feet tall and his head nearly brushed the ceiling of the train.

He shouldn’t be too hard to spot in a police lineup.
