Stabbing in Bangor on Labor Day

BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Police are investigating a stabbing in Bangor.

Officers responded to a Pine Street apartment building at about 5 p.m. Monday where a 32-year-old man was found bleeding from a stab wound to the abdomen.

WABI-TV reports the man was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Neither the victim's name nor his condition was released.

Police did not immediately announce an arrest but said the stabbing was not a random act of violence.
