Six Aroostook County high school soccer teams will be battling to become Eastern Maine champions on Wednesday afternoon.

Three boys’ teams and three girls’ teams have made it to the finals in Class C and D.  Here is a look at the match-ups:

Wednesday, November 6

Boys Eastern Maine Finals

Class C

  • The #3 Fort Kent Warriors (13-3-1) will travel to Madawaska to face the #1 Owls (15-1) at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Class D

  • The #1 Easton Bears look to capture their first ever title as they host the defending State champion Bangor Christian Patriots.  Both teams are undefeated this season.  Game time is 1:00 p.m.

Girls Eastern Maine Finals

Class C

  • In a rematch of last year’s regional final, the #3 Fort Kent Lady Warriors will meet up with the top seeded Orono (14-1-1) at Orono High School.

Class D

  • The #1 Washburn Beavers (15-1) look to win the title for the second straight year. The girls host the  #2 Ashland Hornets (15-1), at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams split their games during the regular season, each winning on their opponent’s home turf.
