Severe Hail Storm in Aroostook County & Western New Brunswick [VIDEO]

You talk about some severe summer weather! One heck of a storm blew through Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick on Tuesday, producing some pretty massive chunks of hail.

I took this video at my home in Littleton at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday as the storm approached the area. I have lived in this area most of my life, and I have never seen a hail storm like this! This weather system produced quarter sized hail! Check out the video for yourself!

This video was taken in Littleton just a few minutes ago. This storm is intense!

Utility Company Emera Maine reported yesterday that 417 homes and businesses in Aroostook County were without power due to the severity of the storm. Areas most significantly affected were Lee, Lincoln, Mattawamkeag, Winn and Littleton. Crews were able to restore power to the area after about 4 hours.
