Dieppe Man Dies in Snowmobile Accident

A 31-year-old Dieppe man has died as a result of his injuries following a snowmobile crash on a trail in Scoudouc, New Brunswick in the early hours Friday.

Shediac RCMP responded at approximately 2 a.m., according to Cpl. Eric Hanson. The investigation determined that the snowmobile went off the trail and crashed into a tree. The driver of the snowmobile died at the scene.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time to allow for proper notification of his family, Hanson said.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
