Miley Cyrus is known for the twerk - but she can really sing. Her cover of Jolene is as good as it gets.

Most people don't know that Dolly Parton is Miley's Godmother. Cyrus has the real country roots with dad, Billy Ray. She was born near Nashville and you gotta love her accent. Miley is officially her name now - it's an abbreviation of her nickname, "Smiley".

Dolly Parton hit #1 with "Jolene" in 1974 and the song crossed over to the Hot 100 - reaching #60. Dolly says it's the song recorded the most by other artists.

Parton had this to say to US Magazine about Miley's cover:

Well she does it great. We did it together as a duet when we did the 25th anniversary of Dollywood. She and Billy Ray were nice enough to come be on that show with me and we did “Jolene,” and we sang it together and it sounded really good. So I’ve heard she’s being doing it in her concerts and she does do a great job of it. I think I saw something, somewhere on TV where I saw her singing it and it was good."
