Power Outages Hit Aroostook

Over 1200 Emera Maine customers were without power Sunday morning.

Emera Maine crews are making repairs to a line in order to restore service to more than 1,200 customers in Limestone, Fort Fairfield and nearby communities experiencing an outage Sunday morning.

Extra crews are on standby, in anticipation of windy weather, to ensure any service interruptions are safely addressed as quickly as possible.

Power is expected to be restored by noontime Sunday.
